En. Azirruan Arifin is the Head of the SOCSO Employment Insurance System (“EIS”) since February 2022. Prior to 2022, he was the Chief Internal Auditor and Ethics Officer at Lembaga Tabung Haji. In his previous tenure with SOCSO, he had served as Chief Internal Auditor and Integrity Officer.

Before his initial tenure with SOCSO, En. Azirruan served at Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM) for about 10 years, where he managed the Shared Service unit, Audit and Consulting Services, Insurance, Risk Assessment and Monitoring as well as Enterprise Risk Management Divisions. In his earlier career days, En. Azirruan had worked in industries such as aviation, financial and motor vehicle manufacturing.
